If you want to skip ahead, here is the full list of changes for this version. In the following sections we present some of the major changes.
Here is how it works: When adding a new alarm, check the option "sunrise mode". You can also tap on its settings button to the right to select its duration before the alarm starts to ring. That means the alarm will be silent for the duration of the "sunrise animation" or until you tap the screen to cancel it.
That's it! With the sunrise mode option checked, when the time comes for the alarm to ring, you will be first presented with a silent animation that slowly increases your device brightness.
AlarmPad PRO users have the "sunrise mode" already included but on the free app, this mode is available as an in-app purchase.
Custom alarm profiles
Here is how it works. With "advanced mode" enabled in the settings menu, you can click on the "add" button from the main screen to start adding a new alarm. Note on the figure to the left, the "profile" section with the "alarms" profile selected. If you click on "manage profiles", you will be redirected to the screen shown on the figure in the middle. You can add new profiles like the "My Custom Alarms" one by clicking on the "+" button.
Finally, when you go back to the "set an alarm" screen, you can now click on the selected profile to change it as is displayed on the figure to the right. Selecting a new profile will automatically replace all alarm options with the ones you set for the profile. Once you do that, you can still review and change the alarm options. The profile works as a quick way to select from a set of pre-defined options, helping you create custom alarms.
And if you have Tasker, you can use this with the "set alarm" plugin to set alarms directly from Tasker using your custom profiles.

Login with your Google account
To do that, first login using your existing account. Then, open AlarmPad's drawer and click on "edit account". There will be a button there where you can click to sign in with your Google account and link it to your existing AlarmPad one. Note that for this work, both your AlarmPad account and your Google one must have the same email address.
Improved extension API
We will cover extensions in the future but in the meantime, be sure to check the existing extensions already available.
And much more
Thank you very much!
